Abraxis magnetic separators (or magnetic holders) feature rare-earth magnets embedded in plastic housing, and are available in a variety of shapes and sizes to accommodate tubes, flasks, and plates of different sizes and quantities. Tube Magnetic Separators
PN 472250, 15/50 mL Tube SeparatorMagnetic holder 32 SDS
A magnetic separation unit designed to hold, and separate magnetic particles to the side of the tubes, up to five 15 mL tubes and three 50 mL tubes. The unit contains five bar magnets embedded in a plastic housing.
PN 472291, 6 x 50 mL Tube Separator SDS
A magnetic separation unit designed to hold, and separate magnetic particles to the side of the tubes, up to six 50 mL tubes. The unit contains bar magnets embedded in a plastic housing.
PN 472287, Microcentrifuge Tube Separator (32 position) SDS

A magnetic separation unit designed to accommodate up to six 1.5 mL microcentrifuge tubes in order to separate magnetic particles contained in those tubes. Optimal working volume is up to 1 mL.

A magnetic separation unit designed to accommodate one 1.5 mL microcentrifuge tube in order to separate magnetic particles contained in the tube (see Image). Optimal working volume is up to 1 mL.

A magnetic separation unit designed to hold, and separate magnetic particles to the side of, one 15 mL and one 50 mL, or one microcentrifuge tube on the flip side (see closeup Image).
PN 472231, Magnetic Separation System, 60-position Instructions SDS
A magnetic separation system designed to hold and separate to the side of the tubes up to 60 tubes of 11-13 mm diameter (e.g. glass test tubes). The two-piece unit consists of a test tube rack which fits over a magnetic separation rack containing rare earth magnet. See Image. The two piece design allows the flexibility for samples to be set up, incubated and magnetically separated without removing the tubes from the test tube rack.

Microtiter Plate Magnetic Separators
PN 472235, Microtiter Plate, Side-Pull Separator SDS
A magnetic separation device designed to hold and separate microtiter plates. The one-piece unit consists of an array of 24 powerful rare earth magnetic rods that fit between the wells of a 96-well microtiter plate (see Image), allowing the separation of particles to the side of the wells for more efficient washing and separation. Optimal working volume is up to 250 µL.
PN 472236, Microtiter Plate, Bottom-Pull Separator SDS
A magnetic separation device designed to hold and separate magnetic particles in microtiter plates. The one-piece unit consists of an array of 24 powerful rare earth magnets embedded in a plastic housing, allowing the separation of magnetic particles to the bottom of the wells. Optimal working volume is up to 250 µL.

Flask Magnetic Separator
