A magnetic separation system designed to hold and separate to the side of the tubes up to 60 tubes of 11-13 mm diameter. The two piece unit consists of a test tube rack which fits over a magnetic separation rack containing rare earth magnet. The two piece design allows the flexibility for samples to be set up, incubated and magnetically separated without removing the tubes from the test tube rack. Optimal working volume is up to 1 mL
